LiberateData Consult

Terms of Service

Effective date:

Terms of Service

These terms apply when you request services from LiberateData Consult (“we”, “us”, “our”) and when you submit an enquiry or data. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

Plain-language notice: This is a practical template for a small service business. If you need a version reviewed for your exact situation, get legal advice.

1. Services

We provide data analysis and reporting services, typically using Excel/CSV data and producing summaries, tables, charts, and written insights. Outputs may be provided as spreadsheets, PDFs, images, or other agreed formats.

2. Enquiries and submission process

3. Your responsibilities

4. Turnaround times

We agree delivery timing after we review your request and data. Timing depends on file size, data quality, and the work requested.

5. Fees and payment

Fees are agreed in writing (WhatsApp/email) before work starts, unless we explicitly begin a small scoping task. Any complimentary welcome service applies only where stated and may be limited in scope.

6. Revisions

Minor revisions (such as small formatting updates or clarifying labels) may be included if agreed. Changes that alter the work (new metrics, extra datasets, new time periods) may require an additional fee.

7. Data quality and limitations

Results depend on the quality of the data you provide. If the dataset has missing fields, duplicates, incorrect entries, or unclear meaning, this may limit what can be produced. We may recommend cleanup steps.

8. Confidentiality

We treat client data as confidential and use it only to deliver the requested service. If you require an NDA, you can provide one for signature before you share sensitive information.

9. Ownership of deliverables

Once payment is completed, you own the deliverables we produce for you, except for any third-party materials or tools that remain under their own licences. We may reuse general methods and techniques that do not include your confidential information.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our outputs for unlawful purposes. You also agree not to request actions that break privacy or data protection laws.

11. No professional advice

Our services provide analytical outputs and explanations, not legal, medical, or regulated financial advice. You remain responsible for your decisions and compliance obligations.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.

13. Termination

Either side may stop work if the other breaches these terms. If work has started, you may be required to pay for completed work to date.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on our site is the current version.
